You can bend the arm a little with your hands (lightly, not too hard), then they will stop pressing, and they will sit normally, but they will no longer dampen the surroundings. For some, the latter is a minus, but for me, a paranoid person, it’s a huge plus - no one will sneak up behind you unnoticed. The sound, considering the price, is quite normal. Please note that these are not headphones for 40 thousand, or even 5 thousand. The price is one and a half thousand. At the same time, previous similar models (out of production) served me for more than 5 years, and only because I could not find replacement ear pads for them.

If we talk about sound, then the ears are fire, but about everything else it’s a matter of taste. If we compare it with the 40s, then in the 50s the scene is brighter (positioning of sounds in space), the lows sound better and, in general, more detailed. But 40x ears are also good, if for some reason you can’t take 50x, then 40x is also worth taking, but if you like a lot of lows (sometimes not even justified) perhaps they are not for you.

The mids, and the vocals in particular, are just a little lacking in openness; I didn’t try to fix them with an equalizer. They are light, fit elegantly (!) in the ears, are very tight and are practically not felt. A slight emphasis on the bass is heard, they play with a “fat” 40-100 Hz. The highs don’t “pop”, even deathgrind at a fairly high volume doesn’t turn into mush, all blasts are easy to read. Sound insulation is good for such a passive device and weight, apparently the material and design of the silicone earbuds have an effect. I encountered this problem, I like the earphones, but the problem is with the sound, it involuntarily decreases when the wire with the microphone moves. (As I already understood, this is a problem with Xiaomi phones of modern years) I have a note 10pro, Android 10. As I decided, I installed the “button mapper”, tried to find the headphone microphone key separately, but still finds it as the volume_down key (25), which corresponds to the volume down rocker key. I only managed to block the “single press” volume control item. Everything seems to be working, but if you want to turn down the volume, you have to press (press) the rocker.

The headphones are excellent, especially if you snag them here at a discount of 6-7 rubles. The sound is biased towards the lower register, they play honestly, evenly, and they will definitely play what is on the recording. Bass can be a bit excessive, especially on poorly mixed tracks. The high frequencies are not tiring, they are quite clean, with a good source there are no “clicks” or sibilants, but perhaps they could have been “airier.” I really like the middle, as for me the vocals are clear and expressive. Subbass is present in the headphones, but without revelations. As a result, based on the totality of all +/- headphones, they are universal, without obvious jambs, and should suit everyone. Some of the complaints from comments on the network, such as a jammed scene or suitable only for monitoring, I think are exaggerated. Of course, you need to listen through a good player or DAC with at least 200 mW of power; don’t be fooled by the “speakers” of your phone or computer. As a conclusion, they are quite excellent for listening to music, playing, watching movies and YouTube.
