In many cases, the washing machine comes with a sink included. When installed in a bathroom, such a tandem significantly saves space.
The main difference from standard models is the size. As a rule, these are low washing machines, with an average height of 60 cm, but not higher than 70 cm. The ideal depth does not exceed 480 mm, and not all machines meet this criterion. Dimensions are of great importance, otherwise the unit will simply stick out, disturbing the interior.
Many people do not want to install compact mini washing machines due to the small load of laundry, averaging 3-4 kg. Instead, narrow machines are purchased, matching in depth with a productivity of 5 to 7 kg. However, they have a serious drawback - excess height. The assembled kit is 95 cm or more, which is not convenient for everyone. But here you already have to choose between productivity and minor inconveniences.
Types of mini washing machines
All small washing machines have minimal dimensions. These are narrow and low devices that combine a unit and a sink. By design, they can be of two types:
- Activator. Old classic version. All processes must be kept under personal control. First, you will need to remove the machine from under the sink, move it to a convenient place, load laundry, add hot water and add powder. Dirty water is drained and clean water is added instead for rinsing. Finally, warm up with a manual push-up. Such a unit cannot be used directly under the sink; it can only be stored. - Drums. These high-tech devices have replaced activator models. They are fully automated and require minimal personal involvement.
