Pros:

Versatility and accessibility. Almost everyone has a cable with a micro-USB connector.
There is no need to disassemble the device to charge it.
On a number of devices with a micro-USB connector, there is a hovering function while charging.

Minuses:

The objective disadvantage of charging via USB is that not all devices powered by more than one 18650 battery cannot be adequately recharged in this way.

How to refill a vape

Before you start using it, you must properly assemble the device and purchase liquid for it. The tank for the manual has a capacity of 5.5 ml, which is exactly the volume of refill you should buy for the first time.

1. The mod must be disassembled, carefully handling the glass flask. On top of the liquid tank there are two channels into which the liquid is poured. Parts of the device can be damaged by careless handling, so all actions must be careful.

2. The evaporator (atomizer) must be disconnected from the main body of the device

To do this, turn the part clockwise and carefully remove it. If twisting is quite difficult, you should not apply force, it is better to continue to do it gradually and carefully

3. The initial errors of the vape device should be eliminated. The vaporizer of this model of electronic cigarettes has certain features of the device, as a result of which the liquid begins to burn and taste bitter when you start using it. To prevent this problem, you should find holes for pouring liquid and carefully pierce them with a thin needle. The evaporator requires at least 6 - 7 punctures in each hole. Experienced steamers advise not to start using the device without this precaution - there is a risk of damaging it even before you start using it. A vape that produces smoke and bitterness requires replacement of structural parts and investments at the very first stage of use.

4. The atomizer cotton wool must be gradually saturated drop by drop with vape refill. The steamer needs to achieve such a level of saturation of the cotton wool with liquid so that a new portion is no longer absorbed into the material. Particular attention should be paid to the mesh, side and internal holes. A larger amount of moisture will not damage the device, but a lack of liquid will give a bitter taste and burning of the material.

5 After the cotton wool is completely saturated with the dressing, you can begin the process of pouring liquid into the flask. The spout of the bottle with refill must be carefully inserted into the opening of the tank and the required amount of product must be poured. The volume of liquid filled at one time varies and cannot be accurately calculated: you can fill a few drops of the substance and fill the tank to the limit (5.5 ml). A full flask will be enough to vape until approximately the end of the vape battery charge. 6.

7. Now you need to close the tank for filling the liquid and screw on the parts removed from it. There should be no leakage from the flask, and all components of the mod must be checked for tight fit to each other. After this, you need to connect the lithium battery to the clearomizer, completing the assembly.

If the vape is working for the first time or its evaporator has been replaced, after soaking the cotton wool, you need to wait 5 - 10 minutes and try to drip a little more liquid onto it. Only after this should you continue refueling the device.

Second and subsequent battery charges

The condition for long and uninterrupted operation of an electronic cigarette is the correct choice of battery. The latter must correspond to the existing ES model. Contacts, fastenings, dimensions must match

You also need to take into account:

Maximum current. This indicator indicates the maximum charging power. If this condition is not met, the battery may break.
Capacity. This indicator determines the battery life without recharging. The larger the capacity, the less often you will need to charge the mod, which increases its service life.

The subsequent battery charge is no less important.

The process is carried out as follows:

Unscrew the battery from the clearomizer;
Connect the battery to the charger;
Plug in the charger and check if it is charging. As mentioned above, the indicator may change color or start flashing.

How to understand that an electronic cigarette is charged - when the color on the battery indicator changes, it means the battery is fully charged. And don’t forget about the instructions, because each device has its own.

There are important points that will tell you how to properly charge an electronic cigarette so that it serves you for a long time:

Do not leave the battery on charge all night - this will not improve the quality of its operation, but on the contrary, it will shorten its service life;
Try to fully charge the battery whenever possible until the corresponding indicator signal appears;
If you charge the battery very often, it will also quickly fail and stop holding a charge;
The lower the ambient temperature and the higher the humidity, the lower the battery productivity and its shelf life;
During periods when you do not plan to use your e-cigarette for a long time, disconnect the battery from it. This way you will protect yourself from premature repair of the entire device.

Charging batteries in a separate device

Most electronic boards installed in e-cigarette mods with a power of 150 watts or more are not able to cope with charging the batteries inside the device, since charging two or three 18650 batteries can overheat and burn the board. Therefore, even if such an electronic mod has a micro-USB connector, its batteries must be charged in an external charger. Some manufacturers specifically include a clause in the instructions that says “The micro-USB connector is intended exclusively for software updates.”

Some of the most well-known manufacturers producing reliable and high-quality chargers are NItecore and Efest. The chargers they produce meet all the necessary standards and do their job perfectly.

Pros:

An external charger, equipped with the necessary electronics, recharges as correctly as possible, increasing the service life of the batteries.
Externally charged batteries have the same voltage, which ensures better performance.
If you have more than one set of batteries for your device, you can charge the batteries “in reserve.”

Minuses:

This charging method requires an outlet, which is not always convenient.
The devices are relatively large in size and are really inconvenient to carry around.

How do you know if your vape is charged? Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will either go off or change color.

To extend the life of your e-cigarette, there are just a few things to remember:

If the device produces little steam, or the indicator light begins to blink, then it is worth putting your device on charge.
It is recommended to both replenish the charge and use it completely, especially for devices with a large battery capacity.
If this is the first recharge of the device, then it should last at least 8 hours after complete discharge.

Just three simple rules will allow you to enjoy your favorite vaping process much longer without harming your electronic cigarette.
